Hello.

My name is Amanda Jones. I am currently working on my MSc in Conservation Practice, hoping to become an art conservator when I graduate. I have always loved both art and chemistry growing up. Originally at the beginning of high school, I wanted to work on a vineyard as a chemist making wine. However, I decided that profession did not involve enough art. So I did a little bit of research on what jobs combine both art and chemistry, and art conservation popped up. I did more research and knew that is what I wanted to do as my career. In order to accomplish that goal, I decided to get a BA in Chemistry, and a BA in Art History from Arizona State University. Soon after graduation, I received an offer in my current program, and so far I am loving every minute of it. Well, I hope you enjoy reading my inner thoughts about everything related to my future as an art conservator. Thanks for reading!
